Be Real is a student-led campaign that highlights the majority of students that do not use alcohol, tobacco or other drugs.

In a typical month, MOST Sherburne County high schoolers do not drink, smoke, or vape.  In fact, 89% of Sherburne High School Students do not drink alcohol in a typical month. (Source: 2022 MSS - 9th & 11th graders)

However, many students believe that more of their peers use than what is actually reported.

Students planning this campaign want their peers to know that although it might seem like everyone drinks or vapes, most students don’t.  They asked their peers to “Be Real” and share their own personal reasons why they choose not to use.  Reasons vary from sports, music, faith, health, family, friends, and education.
